Argosy Foundation Grant

The Argosy Fund for Contemporary music awarded CCOO $5000.00 to make its
first recording: David Carlson's "the Midnight Angel." A revised version of the work
will be premiered in September, 2007 with the Skylight Opera in Milwaukee, and
CCOO will bring the work to Bay Area audiences in 2008, followed by a studio
recording.

Contra Costa Times
Critic Georgia Rowe lists CCOO's January 2006 production of Frank Martin's "Le
vin herbe" as "Best Revival of an obscure opera." (December 28, 2006)
The Ann and Gordon Getty Foundation awards CCOO $3000.00
City Concert Opera received a special Christmas present from one of San
Francisco's most respected philanthropic organizations. This unrestricted gift will
be used toward City Concert Opera's recording project in 2007.

Our donation number is 146. We recognize many of our friends cannot make
financial contributions, but this is an excellent way to clean out your closet and
contribute at the same time. All of the proceeds are paid directly to City Concert
Opera, and the Thrift Store has an extremely low operating margin.
